We have a long-term relationship with volunteers..

Song of Travel Hostel, aka the first hostel at Inle Lake / Nyaungshwe, has a long time history with volunteers. We don't hire foreign staff because we'd like to give more working opportunities to locals. But we do welcome foreign volunteers to join our family, and share your knowledge and passion with us.

Volunteers have helped us build our rooftop bar, decorate our ceiling, build bookshelves, build sofa frames, create wall paintings, make travel guide books, teach our staff new cocktails and food, set up this website, etc. In return we provide our volunteers free accommodation, food, and a unique experience of helping local burmese business.
